This past Friday, I was able to watch the thriller Greta and I was not disappointed. The movie tells the story of Frances McCullen (Chloe Grace Moretz), a young girl living in New York City who finds a purse on the subway and returns it to its owner, Greta Hidag (Isabelle Huppert). Upon returning the bag, Greta invites Frances inside and the two really hit it off. However, over time Greta becomes very attached to Frances and will not let her go. Frances soon realizes Greta's scheme after opening her cabinet and seeing many of the same purse intended to be left throughout the city. After being cut off, Greta begins to stalk Frances and her friends leading to disaster.
After watching Greta, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a thriller and good story. Overall, I would rate in an 10/10 because I enjoyed the way there was a good story line and the scary parts that made me jump. Though it is rated R, this is most likely due to the few bloody scenes and the language. Along with this, the movie ended with an insane cliff hanger that left me wanting more. If you liked Get Out and you're looking for something fun to do with your friends this weekend, go watch Greta before it's too late.
