Another week, another midpoint rose ceremony, another episode that ends with a woman sobbing. This week's episode opens up where Hannah was deciding whether to give it a second try or just move on and leave it in the past. Meanwhile the girls are waiting for Peter to come back  to the group date. They spend a few more minutes hugging and cuddling and not quite kissing, but finally Peter has had enough. “I can’t do this,” he says. He wipes the sparkles from Hannah’s dress off his jeans and heads back to the women, who have been patiently composing their sex stories for his future amusement. Peter gathers all the ladies together and informs him that he’s canceling the date, well the daytime portion, at least. “I’m just not in the right headspace right now to have fun with you guys and enjoy this,” he says. “This is not fair to you all, at all.” But drinks later, okay? The ladies were very annoyed.
Heading into the drinks, Peter tells the girls “Hannah is in the past and she gone from my life and I would like to start a new chapter with one of you ladies.” Natasha is not on board with this idea.“I want to get to know a free Peter,” she fumes. “I don’t want to get to know a chained Peter.” When she sits down with the Bachelor, Natasha lets him know she’s “really upset” about everything that’s happened, and she doesn’t think it’s fair that Peter is working out his issues “at the expense” of the other women.
Moving on to Sydney, Peter and Sydney have a very personal talk. Sydney talks to Peter how she had to deal with a lot of “racial profiling” while growing up in Birmingham, Alabama. She and Peter make out for a bit, and then it’s time for Mykenna and Peter to have some one-on-one time… most of which involves making out. The rose date goes on and Sydney gets the group date rose.
We’re back in the mansion and it’s time for the cocktail party, Kelsey plans her one-on-one with Peter while Kelsey plans to open a bottle of champagne she’s been saving for a special moment. She goes into the house to get Peter but Mykenna grabs and leaves with him and she got mad because Mykenna had a date with Peter and she didn’t. Once Mykenna is done with Peter she walks back in the house and Kelsey tells her “You disrespected me, and I know you don’t really care.” This leaves Kelsey very emotional, then of the girls grab her to fix her makeup before she sits with Peter. She goes outside and Peter and Hannah Ann pass by where her champagne is and they open it up. Kelsey hears it, gets up goes around the corner to check and she sees they’re drinking her bottle. She runs off to the bathroom and Peter goes after her while Hannah Ann is all confused about why she got mad. The rest of the girls tell Hannah Ann about her bottle and Hannah Ann feels bad because she didn’t know. Peter leaves and Kelsey doesn’t want to talk to him, he leaves she comes out and Hannah Ann wants to talk to her but Kelsey starts storming on her. After that all happens, she finally sits down with Peter and share a romantic toast until she drinks from the bottle and gets all wet.
Chris Harrison walks in and says, “Ladies it's time for the rose ceremony.” Three of them leave and the rest of the girls celebrate a toast with Peter.
The next day, is the first real group date of the week, starring Alexa, Mykenna, Natasha, Deandra, Lexi, Victoria F., Kelsey, and Hannah Ann. They meet Peter in front of Revolve, the ladies are going to get some free clothes on this date, but they’re also going to have to compete in a fashion show modeling their clothes. The winner gets over 40 shopping bags filled with Revolve clothing and accessories. The winner of this group date is Hannah Ann. Victoria F gets mad that she won, cries and wants to leave. Peter later on, talks to her and pulls her out and she wants the cameras to leave them for a bit. After they finish talking Peter takes Hannah Ann to talk when Hannh Ann tells Peter what happened with Kelsey and her and she says she felt bulled from Kelsey which then Peter goes and gets Kelsey and tells her what Hannah Ann told and Kelsey cries and tell the girls what Hannah Ann told Peter. The episode ends with Kelsey running off to the bathroom and crying tears of frustration (again). “There’s a difference between me saying not nice words to her face,” sobs Kelsey, “and constantly bullying somebody.”
Next week on The Bachelor, more crying with a pillow fight competition and the return of Demi Burnett from The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise.
