Riverdale Star, Luke Perry Dead at 52 After Failing to Recover from Stroke

     The Riverdale Star Luke Perry who played Archie Andrew’s dad on the show, died on March 4th, 2019 after having a massive stroke. On Wednesday February 27th, Perry was rushed to the hospital after suffering the stroke in his home located in Sherman Oaks, California. 
     Emergency responders reported receiving a call from the residence in regards to a stroke. According to paramedics who arrived at the site, Perry was responsive and talking, but his condition worsened later on. His representatives informed that doctors sedated Perry in hopes of giving his brain a shot to recuperate. Unfortunately the damage caused by the stroke was too extensive and the actor died at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank.
     Perry died alongside his closest friends, relatives, and his children. In sorrow, LIli Reinhart who acted alongside Perry in the show Riverdale tweeted,“I'm finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us.” The whole Riverdale crew is devastated, and they are dedicating season 3 in his honor. 
     Perry is best known for his portrayal of Dylan Mckay on the 90’s coming of age drama,Beverly Hills 90210. Perry left behind children, Jack, Sophie, and fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer.
