Santa Ana hosts Vegan Village

3/14/2019

Santa Ana held its weekly Saturday Vegan Festival, at 101 N Bush Street in the Blue Lot. The event consists of over 20 vendors set up side by side bordering the Blue Lot.
There were all kinds of plant based food products  ranging from Asian, Mexican, American, Italian and more. Some of the vendors I tried were Mama’s International Tamales, Nodoh Brand and Vegan by el Zamorano.
My favorite was the fried mozzarella sticks by Nodoh Brand.  Aside from food served by stands there are also vendors selling healing crystals, photography, meditation books, vegan bath bombs and matcha tea plus Mexican water and baked sweets.

Vegan vendors come together every Saturday at the Blue Lot to share their creations with the community. There is available on and off street parking conveniently located near the Blue Lot. All are welcome, bring your appetite and an open mind to try all sorts of new foods
