Calvary decided to go for a 2-point conversion to continue the close the scoring gap. Their attempt attempt was successful, ending the first half with a score of 14-8.
In an interview with Nathan Pacheco, he stated,"After being up in the first half, we felt really confident going into the next half. Although the Eagles were very confident in the 3rd, Calvary came out of the gates swinging, as within the first 3 minutes, they complete a pass for a touchdown, and once again, complete a successful 2-point conversion. This put Calvary ahead of the Eagles 16-14, but Estancia's defense was able to prevent anymore scoring from Calvary, and the score remained the same by the end of the third quarter.
In the 4th quarter, Calvary really put the nail in the coffin, as they completed another touchdown, following up with yet another 2-point conversion, notching the score at 24-14.
